Gin Drinking
I don't collect gins but do enjoy G&T as my drink of choice. I started out on Gilbey's back in 1964 and that is still my standby. I hated it when they went to plastic bottles so kept a couple of the glass ones and now I buy in plastic then pour into glass to keep in the cabinet. I like 'Fever Tree' tonic now days along with fresh limes.
I have purchased a few. It pales in comparison to the whiskey collection. I like gin for its complexity and the general juniper profile. I was also introduces to the Negroni cocktail last summer, and enjoyed trying a few different ones for that. I find gin to be the best clear liquor for the enjoyment of tasting and sipping.
Love a nice gin! My sister got me a gin infusion set for Christmas which I just used with basic Bombay - 4 flavors; tea, citrus, pink gin (mostly rose petals I think), and a chocolate one (sweet cocktails are not my choice but I made it anyway).
Enjoying my first nude hammock of the season with the tea infused gin in a love G&T
