Do you know Jan Gay?

If you dont know the name Jan Gay, queer sex reseacher, non sexual nudist pioneer author of the book On Going Naked and writer of the movie This Nude Life. Many people dont even know that she an openly queer woman was a leader in early American naturism. Important knowledge for homophobic naturists and model for today,'s LGBTQIA naturists.

Indeed . Of course one can participate in non-sexual nudity regardless of their sexuality.

That is not what HCF posted.

He posted that she was a

, non sexual nudist pioneer

Which means being able to socialise naked without it leading to sexual feelings.
Im pretty sure when she wanted to have sex she did in an appropriate place.
Which means not on the pool table with you looking on.

If your intention was to actually engage is real conversation and not troll you might have noticed the comma that has been pointed out to you and taken time to explore the article and the difference between a person sexual orientation and their practice of naturism.

Let me spell it out for you my troll friend. Jan Gay aka Helen Reitman was an out lesbian in the 1930s when she wrote the book on Going Naked and the movie This Nude Age. She is considered a pioneer in American nudism and started a naturist community in Hudson Valley NY. In addition at the same time concurrent with your practice of nonsexual nudity and leading in that movement, she was a sex researcher who was ahead of her time doing research on the sexual lives of people who identified queer and lesbian ling before Kinsey.
Simply put nonsexual social nudity does not mean a person has no sex life and doesnt make them prudes. A person sexual orientation or gender identity should not determine their ability to be a naturist.

You are right to call me out on trolling for my comment. I apologize. I read the article and agree that Gay deserves recognition for her pioneering work in the field of human sexuality. I personally find the qualified term "non-sexual nudity" amusing, like there's some natural blurring of genitalia. Humans are sexual by nature; likely more sexual when scantily and titillatingly clothed. Nudity kind of blows their cover. Perhaps a term such as "social nudity without exhibiting sexual behaviors" is a more accurate description of your point. I agree that social nudity can and should just be social nudity free of sexual judgment.

Now youve got it..

Excellent point, but a bit cumbersome. Fortunately I can shorten that ideal. Simply use

Nudist.

Or as I prefer

Naturist.

Now you understand the meaning of those words, why not help educate those who dont.
