RE:Rules for posting photos

The administrator is high on weed most of the time. One of my photo was not allowed, but similar pose but with extreme exposure of genitals in focus was allowed which is posted by others.

I must disagree with your opinion that posting pix is futile and of reasonable moderation no longer existing. Many examples of varied pictures exist, some of which survive and others dont along with a somewhat wide variance of moderation; it is not perfect but does keep the group somewhat, albeit imperfectly, moving forward. Many folks I have observed are really testing the boundaries while others I think are collateral damage. Its not perfect by any means but given the most probable operating parameters is within reason. Keep reporting, keep flagging & hope for the best.

I have been highly critical of the seemingly arbitrary moderation. As I have thought about it further over the last few years, I have come around to the appreciation of how difficult a job it is. Its not perfect but its a valiant effort. There are clearly pictures throughout that violate the rules. They do not offend me but I get why some people do get upset. Some may have posted similar pictures but have them deleted for violating the rules. Others may be upset because nudism/naturism is supposed to be non-sexual or at least that is what we have to promote to try to win over the doubters. And I suppose the Mastercard police are ever present and ready to pounce should overt sexuality crop up on a site.

I believe you must be certified to post photos. If you go back & check the rules, the credit card payment folks are requiring a real effort to ensure that folks here are 18 plus. Part of the control is no, not any picture posting unless you are certified as over 18. I am sure the Feds are part of the deal but thats how it is playing out. Good luck.

RE:Rules for posting photos

I just got banned from the chatroom too, for posting a pic that did not show enough of my face. Even though the system cropped the picture I submitted. I then posted a more complete picture and asked for clarification of the rules. Response? 2-day ban, with zero explanation!

I just joined yesterday, became certified, and paid my fee. I'm not happy...

Why did you pay a fee? You do not seem to understand..........the only thing that matters is that you pay the fee. Nothing else matters including getting banned over and over again with no explanation.

Ive also seen this issue first hand. Plenty of ok photos thats have been altered by the chatroom itself and someone is banned. I am a strong believer that there should be a reason given once you are banned as well. I think bans need to not be given out so quickly to those people and maybe warn them and allow them to explain if it was a system error or their own first.

I totally agree. I recently got banned for just liking a work of art that i dont think was too explicit but who knows.

Thing is Hawk, these rules aren't being followed by your fellow mods for photos posted on groups, the only rule that seems to count is "All pictures can be deleted at the discretion of the administrator" which means any photo that isn't of the certified member themselves.
The disregard of the TOS and these rules will drive members away, dry up new members joining, and be the end of both sites.
You shouldn't underestimate the power of "word of mouth" advertising.
