Would most of us be comfortable walking into a grocery store nude if 99.9 percent of the folks around us were clothed. It would definately need to be warm outside.

May 18, 2018According to the 2003 Sex Offenders Act, anyone is legally allowed to be naked in public in the UK providing that they don't do it for sexual purposes and the police can still arrest you but only if someone complains about it and that you refuse to cover yourself up

May 22, 2018so while it's technically legal, in reality it's really not, because all it takes is one person to raise a voice against it and it suddenly becomes illegal. That puts the legality of nudity on a very unstable basis. where it's legal or not based on the whim of whoever happens to see a person nude.

May 22, 2018Not for a full shopping, Too cold. Maybe for a quick trip for a few items.

May 22, 2018If it was legal to be nude in public I would be nude as much as possible.

There is a big difference between legal and acceptable, and I am not sure what needs to come first. In my neighborhood, it is perfectly legal for old fat guys to wear extremely minimalist clothing, i.e. a pair of bikini briefs, but the norm suggests shorts with at least a couple inches of leg and a t-shirt. I've pushed that norm, but only on extremely hot and humid days of working in the yard.

Most of my neighbors wear shirts i their yard, but I still don't. I keep my shorts at mid-thigh since I don't wear underwear. Back in the 79's and 80's before I stopped wearing underwear and shorter shorts were more common, I would wear them shorter. Will occasionally do back yard work in a speedo. Have been tempted to cut the grass that way, but since most of my lawn is in front and I live on a busy street, I have never done so/ReagierenAntworten - NA
May 29, 2018If it was legal clothes would be boxed up and would be out of the house with the passing of law. Would drive to store and enjoy being able to do so without clothes. I would invest in a wrist wallet once again like when was a kid. I have to admit I have done this before in convenient stores and gas stations in VT where laws are relaxed about nude in public.

May 29, 2018A few of my past coworkers knew i was a nudist and a select few actually saw me that way dropping off paperwork or working on site where thought was alone.

Then the temperature would be the only reason to clothe me :-D

Jun 12, 2018Long enough to exit the car and enter the store. If nudity was legal what would the issue be?

Jun 12, 2018
Then the temperature would be the only reason to clothe me :-D
Agreed. Most grocery stores are too cold to be nude. I am generally uncomfortably cold in shorts and a t-shirt, and I don't get cold easily.ReagierenAntworten - GY
Jun 14, 2018I quite often get 1/2 way to shop before I realise. Good thing the old lady would probably have a heart attack or stroke.

The only reason I wear clothing at all is because nudity isn't legal

Jan 2, 2019It is legal in the UK but given the current state of public opinion I wouldn't try grocery shopping as that could cause a breach of the peace.
However, I have done grocery shopping in resorts where it is legal.ReagierenAntworten - MIMitgliedMar 1, 2019
I'd only do it if it was a normal thing to see. It doesn't matter if it's legal but only 3 people do it. I just don't want to stand out.

As long as I wouldn't be visiting the 'vertical barred hotel' (aka jail!!), then I would have no problem with everyone else around me being clothed. I'm sure that folks would ask me why I'm nude, but I have no problem explaining that this is a lifestyle and nudity is NOT sex!!
Only 2 circumstances where I would be clothed: (1) temperatures are below 60 degrees Fahrenheit; (2) type of work where clothing would be more practical, such as a welder, auto mechanic, etc.

Apr 24, 2019If it was legal and openly known, i would be nude right now. I respect textiles but if the law allowed me to be nude 24/7 i will strip this second.

May 23, 2019
It isnt just what is legal, it is what is accepted locally and socially. For example nudity is legal anywhere in Spain. Spain probably has one of the highest concentrations of nudist beaches going. But do people go naked on any beach just because it is legal, of course not. I have no problem being naked in environments where I am in the minority, or even the only one, as long as that is socially expected/acceptable. But not forcing my nudity on people just because it is legal so I can.
I 7nderstand your viewpoint and personality I might be somewhat of that opinion. However, societal norms have a significant impact on the laws that are passed. If it were legal and so few were actually being nude in public that people were surprised or shocked at seeing someone nude , thus being offended then the law would most likely be changed to make nudity illegal. So while I understand your viewpoint, the old saying use it or lose it applies.ReagierenAntworten - MI

It is legal for women to be topless in NY, but very few do so, but the law has not been changed.ReagierenAntworten - MS
Jun 10, 2019Oh...this is a reoccurring dream of mine. It would probably take a couple of starts and stops but I would do it within a week.
ReagierenAntworten - MIMitgliedJun 10, 2019
I would be very happy, if that was allowed. Then I would extend my nudity from the area "around the house" to most of my daily life.
