RE: When you have company over.

Being married to textile woman, I am covered most of the day anyway!! But even if we were both nudists living in this little Bible Belt town in SE Missouri we would have to be clothed!! just the way it is here!! The people here are very close minded to anything they don't understand or like!!

RE: When you have company over.

Always nude at home, so no bra. Sometimes, a textile friend, client
or just a visitor will come over and I'll have to dress, but I'll
still wear something that hides the fact that I am braless.
Answering the door I can just throw on my robe and, of course, no
bra there. If its a friend who knows we are nudists or my morning coffee neighbor its also just the robe.

There are times when an outfit works better with a bra. Plus, there
are many times when I enjoy going out in public and showing off my
"womanly" traits...LOL. If a generous showing of my cleavage brings
a smile to any gentlemen and brightens their day then I'm happy to
oblige. Some people think church is a place for conservative
looks and covering up. Not at my church. All my sisters there love
to be admired and to wear outfits that accentuate their figures
like underwire bras.

Other than excursions out in public I love to be hanging free, so
to speak. Bras are simply too confining and may cause rashes when
my breasts perspire far too much with them on.

RE: When you have company over.

One time when our friends, a married couple, came over for a BBQ and a swim, the man kept asking about my nude beach trips and seemed to be curious about the whole nudist experience. My wife had told the woman that I am a nudist and we go to clothing optional beaches and had been to a nudist resort in the Carribean. My wife told me that the topic came up when they had gone to a salon to get waxed. My wife commented on our friend being almost bald and said that I was shaved. The conversation then went to me being a nudist and it was just easier and more comfortable and the beach. Both our friends seemed to want to carry on the conversation about nude beaches and their mis informed perception of them and nudist resorts. I eventually invited them to come with us next time we go which they eagerly accepted.
As the night progressed, it was warm and humid and I said I was up for a night time swim. Everyone seemed eager, and I pulled off my swim trunks and jumped in the pool naked. The others jumped in after me with suites on. I climbed out a few times to dive in and could be seen by our friends. I got all of us drinks and casually walked around nude as everyone was getting in and out of the pool. My wife said that he is always naked in the pool and outside here. My friend, the man, eventually pulled his trunks off in the water and threw them up on the patio. His wife followed by taking her top off and throwing it by his trunks. Eventually we were all nude in the pool under the cover of darkness, water, and dimly lit lights. I was the only nude person for a while but felt comfortable being naked with everyone.

I also wear what they wear. If it is my nudist friends I wear nothing. Otherwise something casual. I am living in a tropical climate so only two items of clothing are needed - a pair of pants and a short-sleeved shirt (or t-shirt). I never use underwear and no socks/no shoes is culturally perfectly ok.

For me a pair of pants usually translates into black Levis 501 jeans (after a few zipper accidents I always wear the buttoned model). My favorite pair have been washed well over a hundred times and are nice and soft. An all cotton or linen shirt - also washed many times - completes my costume. This outfit is the second most comfortable one after no outfit at all. I would not be comfortable receiving my non-nudist friends dressed in baggy shorts - unless that's what they are wearing too ....

RE: When you have company over.

Most friends who visit know that we're nudists and that we live nude at home, we usually stay nude when they're here. Some are nudists too, we're getting more nudists in our circle of friends as we spend more socialising at nudist activities, other good friends were friends first but have mostly accepted our preference to be nude. Its actually a rare occasion that we find ourselves in the dilemma of whether to answer the door naked or not if we're not expecting anyone before the doorbell goes. Most people contact us before arriving these days, a text is so simple to send.

I definitely don't take the militant attitude. I dress for others. In a typical Southern California summer I usually strip as soon as the door is closed so I always have something by the door on stand by.

It definitely depends on who is visiting, I have a few friends who
are naturist or open to nudity and with them I will stay as is,
otherwise I'll chuck on a lungi
