Anyone else keep track of what they have read?

I was blessed with a high school English teacher Mrs. Hoatson, who encouraged us to keep track of what we read to get extra credit in class. I started the list my sophomore year, 1977 so it is in it's 41st year. Nothing fancy, just book name, author, number of pages and date finished.
All written out in my poor printing on standard notebook paper.

I have considered putting it online but would need a very rainy day or two where i did have anything else to do, to do it.

Anyone else keep records? If so how do you use them?

I like to refer back to my list when suggesting books to others. Also helps in some genres like fiction to know if I have read them before since certain books start looking alike.

I keep a list of books I've bought, so that I have a lower chance of buying a duplicate. I have one section of bookshelf dedicated to books I haven't read yet, so I don't keep track of that any other way.
