Gents, I totally agree! Sadly, too many Americans still cling to the 1950s notion that the USA is more progressive and modern than other countries. Thankfully, 20 years in the American military and traveling all over the world allowed me to realize just how modern and wonderful other countries are. Having lived in several countries and traveled extensively, I believe there are several countries (including the UK) that are more accepting and progressive that the USA. Don't give up on us yet!
