Just an update on this, I'm not sure if it's just me but everything seems much more stable now. No problems with messages or with pictures uploaded to my group.

Messaging is now a dream compared to previously and no crashes or errors at all.

Thanks for sorting this, much appreciated by everyone I'm sure!
