how to trim a video so it is small enough to post

Anyone know the file size that is allowed to be posted?
My videos don't show up here.

Thanks,

It may not be the size that is tripping you up. Videos I have posted from my old camera post without any problem. One of them is quite lengthy. Every video I have tried posting from my new camera do not successfully post regardless of size. I'm sure it has something to do with the encoding method, but TT1/TT2 have not seemed interested in figuring it out.

It must not be the size problem as I have trimmed them down to nothing and still they will not appear.
You think there would be a primer or help page but as you say they are not interested.

Thanks,

Yes the file type was wrong.

It must be MOV, AVI, OT, MP4, Mpeg, FLV, or a WMV in order to work.

I don't know if some do better than others but AVI I changed it to reduced it to about 10% of the original file size.

It looks a little funny now, but loaded okay.

I haven't tried to post a video yet, but thanks for the heads up!
