Hiking in Central Iowa
Hello there! I'm an ISU vet student and a long time Iowa resident. I've been a member for a while, but only started becoming more active now. I only recently would have attached the description "nudist" to myself truly recently. I love taking nude hikes on quiet trails to enjoy nature more fully and get away from the stresses of classes. Usually I don't mind taking them myself, but occasionally having a buddy of either gender would be fun. I am an introvert, so time alone is good.But I would like to meet like-minded people in the area and make new friends. My partner doesn't like hiking naked (more of an at-home lifestyle) as much as I do though she will rarely go with me. Look forward to meeting others!
In college I lived in Old Orchard new the vet school and used to lay out in the large field behind the vet school. There was a hill between the field and school that provided cover. Girl friend and I sun bathed often and we knew we were not the only ones cause there were spots where the grass was matted down and porno mags in the bushes, but we never saw anybody else. Is it still private back there?
The best places I've found are county parks. Most of the time, especially during the week there is nobody there and if someone pulls into the gravel lot while you are hiking naked, you can hear them and throw your shorts on before you get back.
