Club Orient - St. Martin

This is a earlier report from last month...
For the past week, my wife and I have been luxuriating in a nude
lifestyle by day at Club Orient in St. Martin. She, being part Cherokee
can bake in the sun far longer and get far darker than this
Scotts/Irish descendent. That said, my tan is coming along quite
nicely, thank you very much.
I mentioned by day, because by night we are out enjoying as much of
the gustatory delights as we can in the wonderful restaurants on St.
Martin. Three that we can strongly recommend include Le Ti Bouchon in
Cul de Sac, on the road to the Raddison. The owner, Momo is a highly
engaging host and wonderful designer of haute cuisine. His escargot in
curry creme sauce is out of this world. We also recommend The Treehouse
in Pic Paradis. Located in a lush jungle, this casual complex of bar,
restaurant, reggae bandstand (Saturdays this time of the year) along
with daytime zip rides and walking tours is a delightful treat.
Finally, La Villa in Grand Case was a delight, hosted by Florence &
Christophe. The food was excellent, hosts were charming and the wine
list was good.
During the day we lounge on the beach, snorkel in the shallow waters
and just get hot and tan. The nude community intermixes nicely with the
textiles who walk up and down the beach. It is a shame that they get
to walk the entire beach while we have to limit our unclothed excursions
to Club Orient's property lines. We are staying in a Beach Chalet
which is a one bedroom chalet with den and kitchen and outdoor patios on
the entry side and the beach side. It is nice, clean and functional.
The maids come around once a day and do a good job of keeping everything
ship shape.
We tried out the small exercise room with excellent equipment and
enjoyed it very much. The Papagayo restaurant and bar is servicable and
reasonably priced, but hardly comparable to the high end restaurants on
the French side of the island that we so enjoy.
We made a stop for wine at Bacchus in the new shopping complex beside
the Orient Bay / Grand Case / Cul de Sac round-about. They are hidden
in the complex but well worth searching out. They have an excellent
selection of international wines and champagnes and have a restaurant
that is open only for lunch (I believe - we did not eat there).
Speaking of which, I just opened a very nice Antinori Pinot Noir with
notes of blackberry and honey. Very nice.

Orient Beach was my first nude experience back in 1992,on whichI walkedin a textile and walked off asa naturist. I visited on a day excursion of a cruise, and found my favorite beach. I've always thought I would go back, and in fact it's been etched in my mind as my ideal retirement spot ever since. I'd heard the cuisine is incredible, and sounds like that is the case. Good nude with good food--my heaven.
Thanks again spi for reminding me where I need to revisit.

We have been to St Martin and stayed at Club O or on Orient Beach maybe a dozen times. It gets in your blood. Wonderful beach, awesome food on the island/especially the French side. Haven't been back for a while due to increase in costs when they went to the Euro. Hope to retire and go back at least once more next year. Check out www.orientbeach.com

The wife and I were there about 3 years ago. The clothed people you see are from cruise ships. We know we were on one. They actually inform people on the ship about the nude beach so they can go gawk. So when you see a big group of clothed people walking down the beach they are textiles.I actually had a woman walk right into my foot trying to get a better look at my manhood. We did not pay anything to be on the nude beach however but did rent chairs and an umbrella. We loved the outdoor bar and met some very nice people who just wanted to chat. YES, we are going back.

RE: Club Orient - St. Martin - we'll be there for Dec 2011 - Jan 2012

I was just there the first week of November while on a stop on a cruise and love it there. Have been many times for the day and vow to one day go back for a week. Its the most relaxing beach you can find and a great mix of people.
