Observations on fake profiles

There are three basic categories of fake profiles in adult sites. I refer to a he, but he could be she. So, I choose he instead of he/she.

The scammer Empty profile seeking for a serious relationship and a picture that cannot be googled. This guys replies to text messages are like Thanks dear, how are you doing? . After joining in, he lists the users who bite the bait of an attractive profile picture and contacts one person at the time. Then he offers his gmail or skype name and invites to continue contact there. Never leave the environment of TN. Stay here, no matter what. If you restrain from leaving the site's safety, he may never come back to you.

The one with low self-esteem This person is real. The profile pic is stolen but can be googled (maybe a less known porn star) and sometimes the whole profile is built around a fake identity. After a couple of messages, you understand that something is wrong. Youd like to continue a conversation but Always seek certified users. Maybe they keep their face from you, but TN knows!

The double personality Thats new for me! I met this type here on TN. Im in the line to be contacted by them, so I may never flag them. This person looks real, possibly the photo is real, as well as other information. If you google the name, then you only discover a fb profile which is empty: A name, a photo, a dozen of likes dating 2 or 3 years ago, and no posts. This person hides effectively his real identity, so his motivation to join the site is unknown.

If you wish to post your comments, please, avoid usernames

RE:Observations on fake profiles

I flagged a user and sent a message to the admins, reporting that he/she is using a photo of a porn star as profile pic. (A Google search discovered a couple of photos from the same session.) My message was read but nothing furthered happened. It seems to me that an introvert pornstar (conclusion from the profile) is a member of TN.

In this way, browsing profiles and communicating attempts require extra skills and Agatha Christie's novels do not help much.

I would also recommend to show disbelief to profiles without pictures claiming to be models.
Also, if you are sent a photo from a model's portfolio (instead of a selfie, or a picture with a swimsuit) then be prepared that the pictured person is not the profile operator. It is better to express your disbelief immediately, so that he/she stops responding, than wasting more time on exchanging messages only to be disappointed later.

I was laughing the whole read bc its so true. I will sympathize with a large part of the ladies who have lost interest in single men online. But this is what we deal with, and these women, or the sweaty guy in the wife beater, are really the worst people. I was worked for 6 months a few years ago before this person started needing money. On the other hand, I was asked for $60 within 15 minutes yesterday. Its crazy.
