RE:circumcision Decision

Hi Shaneone 77

Circumcision isnt pointless! A full, tight circumcision in infancy cuts out any issues with phimosis or paraphimosis. It is more hygienic. It causes some desensitisation of the glans penis meaning that the man can last longer before orgasm. It looks more beautiful and it is a great tradition. It can often cause the glans penis to flare out as well.
Our sons are very happy being circumcised and plan to circumcise any sons that they may have (as will our daughter) despite receiving lots of teasing in the school changing rooms for being the only circumcised boys in their years.
However, I do agree that the nurse was wrong to keep asking you about circumcising your son. Youd made your wishes clear and that should have been the end of it. We are very publically pro-circumcision - all our friends and family know that Peter and the boys are circumcised - but weve never told any of them that they should circumcise their children.

Remind me why you're in the group?

Not unnecessarily chopping off part of his penis is what's best for him!

Who says it's unnecessary?

What you're doing is giving your opinion and not stating fact. I'm uncut, zero issues my whole life and that's all there is to it. So is my son, that's all there is to it. You're waxing lyrical .....stick to fact

It's unnecessary if there isn't a medical reason for it!

Much to your dismay, you'll have to understand that they are their kids, not your kids. It's up to them if they will perform preventative/elective/mandatory surgery as they and the *medical* advisors they choose. The medical training you see is important and it's the first thing intactivists attack. Telling everyone what how a conspiracy of corrupt doctors took their foreskins. It's no wonder half the intactivist movements are antivax you see.

As to your anecdotal experience, it's unimportant. Nobody cares if your foreskin is fine. Nobody cares if you would know how to tell fine from problematic apart either. After all intactivists are known to promote the normalization of phimosis right to the point where prominent figures telling people it's fine to never open your foreskin in your life, get penis cancer and lose the whole thing.

Thankfully there are statistical data, and that way we know the truth.

Now closing, we do know intactivist organizations are comprised mainly of uncut men. There just aren't enough gullible cut men out there that you guys can brainwash into thining they are cripples after all. And it doesn't help that often you drive them to suicide. But can you please get out of the group in which you don't belong and only joined to spread propaganda and find more weak men to recruit?

Or is it that you can't stop yourserlf until more kids take their own lives after internalizing your propaganda? Just look at your cause-justifies-the-means attitude. Look at the nazi communities you frequent where dissent means instant ban. What exactly are you trying to achieve here? At what cost?

RE:circumcision Decision

One of the many things we love about being nudists is that the people we meet are generally so relaxed, pleasant and broad-minded. So we need to accept that people have different views whatever they are about, including circumcision. Yes, we are totally pro-circumcision, including infant circumcision, but we accept that a lot of people arent and that is fine as long as they are civil and dont become nastily critical. As we said earlier, most of our friends havent circumcised their children but that doesnt make them bad parents.

Yikes! .....to be so obsessed with genital mutilation is a bit alarming and your "reasoning" for doing it might perhaps be similar to other parts of society who believe that cutting off their young daughters clitoris, and partly sewing up them up, a practice known widely as FGM [Female Genital Mutilation], is also essential and a good thing.

But not only do we know that to be untrue it also denies the child any choice. Is that good?

Well we thought it might be nice to suggest that all sides need to be pleasant (as we said in our last message above) but clearly not everyone thinks that. Comparing male circumcision with FGM is ridiculous. Male circumcision is cutting off the foreskin. FGM is cutting the glans clitoris. The male equivalent to that would be cutting off the glans penis and we certainly dont advocate that.
