RE:Letters

When we go out as a family to a restaurant we always make our kids join in on the conversation. It doesn't happen that often so we like to make the best of it.

RE:Letters

I grew up with a phone tied to the wall with a rotary dial on it. Didn't get a cell phone for many years after they came out. When I finally did I found I didn't like them. I got a "smart" phone for business and navigation when truck driving, but got it by monthly subscription so I could let it go easily. I'd rather not have the extra bill, kind of hard to carry a phone anyway when I don't wear nothin to carry it with. When I work nude I don't want a belt on even. That's uncomfortable as clothing.

My emails and forum posts tend to be long at times. Feel like I have a lot to explain when talking about some topic. And I haven't sent a letter in years. Didn't write very many even before the web came along.

RE:Letters

I still write a letter to my mom at least monthly and send it via USPS though use my computer to write it. My cell phone is a flip phone and I have receiving text messages blocked. Stopped going out to eat with my wife and stepdaughter because of the phone at the table, but enjoy meals with my daughter's family because the phones are not at the table and I doubt my grandchildren will get that privilege while still living at home. I get admonished for not having my phone with me all of the time, but like ruebenT find no place to carry it on a nude body and I am often making enough noise with my activities to not hear it ring anyway.
