Bright moon

Went for my semi regular walk along the riverbed tonight. The moon was full and bright. It cast a good dark shadow to follow me the full walk. Besides seeing the surroundings better, the river critters were mostly quiet. Usually they have strong varied sounds of birds and frogs and ???. Tonight was very quiet. So much that I heard some small critter ahead on the trail for the first time. Even though brighter than most nights, I was still able to pass the fire station and small open area to the car without cover. Always a great walk.

I used to love being out on the river laying naked on the deck drifting and watching the night sky under a full moon. Brings back memories...
