Bare to Breakers 2020
I have a group of friends - so far two men, and two GORGEOUS women - who are joining me to walk the Bay to Breakers race totally nude. I expect the group to get bigger, and I'm wondering how many of you would like to join us. We'll be in group G - Walkers.
I have done the Bay 2 Breakers run naked many times but most recently learned that nudity at this event is no longer legally allowed.
In 2012 San Francisco passed a law banning public nudity. They made exception for certain events, like Folsom Street Fair, provided a permit is issued. In 2019 I ran B2B naked and was pulled aside by a police officer. She explained to me that the race organizers had decided NOT to file for a nudity permit for this event and ordered me to cover up or be cited.
I'm not saying don't do the race. You can probably do it and get away with it. But there is a risk of arrest.
