Tom-wales, I see that you've been able to identify, what appears to be around a thousand fake accounts, in about a week. That's a hell of an accomplishment in such a short time. I'm doing good to flag a few hundred profiles in twice that time, much less compile lists, and post them in this thread.
I noticed that you're tying a lot of the fake profiles to New York bots. How did you determine that? I know that a lot of them claim to be from NY, but I just assumed that their location is as fake as they are. Do you have some access to IP addresses for members here? Even so, wouldn't VPNs cover up tracking without the use of higher tech?
BTW, how did I get on your list of blocked fake profiles? As far as I'm aware, I've done nothing that would suggest that I'm a bot or faked profile, nor have I sent out anything in an attempt to scam any one.
