RE:I am confused

I had an interesting conversation with my wife. She surprised me by saying she doesn't find nudism necessarily healthy per se; compared to - let's say - having a good workout and a healthy organic meal afterwards. Nor does she feel it particularly "liberating" in the sense that she feels better about her nude body as a result of social nudity. So she doesn't attach her own body-acceptance to nudism, because she already accepts her body.

So then: why even be a nudist at all? Well because it's just fun and relaxing. Could she have the same fun and relaxation at a clothed beach in a bikini or topless? Not necessarily because of the "sensation" or not having anything; not even a thin piece of fabric, "obstructing" any part of the body.

Some would argue that the "sensation" is actually what makes nudism healthy. And it's also a good point.
