Stolen Shorts

Had my bag rifled through while I was off for a walk down the beach this morning. Thankfully I carried my phone and car keys with me, but whoever it was did steal my shorts. Its about 15 minutes from the c/o area across a golf course and along a public road to get back to my car. Is it bad that I almost wish they took all my clothes leaving me no option to walk back totally naked? My plan is to do that anyway carrying my t-shirt but thats not quite the same I suppose in regards to the risk

Update: got back without incident. Had to be patient crossing the golf course not to cross paths with any playing groups but 2-3 minutes of standing out of view was all. Two cars passed me from behind along the road, both passing without any fuss
