Kids' Games for Adults report, Upcoming events & Auction update

Members and new friends from around the Carolinas and Georgia spent the day in the sun and shade enjoying the fun, the camaraderie, and food at Travelites Kids Games for Adults. Ring toss, beanbag game, jacks, bubble stuff were used in between trips to the pool and hot tub. There were also hula hoops, pick-up stix, coloring books, and other items that brought smiles to faces. Everyone took their turn having fun with the piata that was eventually defeated.
The hamburgers and hot dogs were perfectly grilled. We sampled a new variety of cornbread that was definitely fantastic. The side dishes were the best ever. The special chocolate cake that a member from the Low Country brought was made into a birthday cake for one of our hosts who were very hospitable as always. Below is the update of the Auction. We are not planning to schedule anything over Memorial Day weekend. However, you are welcome to come on out to our property to enjoy the sun and shade, the hot tub, the yard, and volleyball.

The clubs birthday party is scheduled for June 11th. We will be grilling steak and attendees are asked to bring sides and desserts in Hopkins, SC. There will be a VERY quick membership meeting at about 4:30 to vote on a delegate to the AANR Easts annual meeting. Please let me know if you can go to Empire Haven in Moravia, NY to represent Travelites August 18-20. This is the time to let us know if youd like something in the bylaws changed or added. In order to get any proposals out to the members and voted on, we need to have your input no later than June 6th.
