Skin Cancer Screening

Hey Yall

A reminder to go get a skin cancer screening once a year. I went at the end of last summer and my doc identified five spots. He treated all of them and told me they should just fall off but if one came back I had to go back in. Four fell off with no issue but one came back on my nose. Turns out it was a skin cancer. I went in last Wednesday to have it removed and now Im sitting here with stitches up one side of my face, in pain, and bleeding non-stop. I am so glad we were able to catch it early before things got worse and happily all of the cancer was removed. What got me was that on the surface the spot was super tiny but underneath it was growing and the doc had to cut deep into and up the side of my nose. Ill be fine and I wont ever miss a screening again. Also SUNSCREEN! Everywhere. All the time.

I think White Tail brings in dermatologists once a year to do free screenings and its also easy to call a dermatologist office and set an appointment.
