Deleting comments from group discussions
To be clear, I mean to ask how to delete comments made by myself in groups run by others.
The method to do this was broke several "upgrades" ago, and has not been fixed.
If you are on a windows desktop, it can be done, but requires some finagling of the system.
Go to the message you want to delete
Right click on top of it.
Left click on "Inspect"
Look for the line that includes "list in-line actions" and click on the three dots on the second half of the line
Look for the line that includes "action owner admin moderator" and right click on it and select "edit attribute"
Add "member" (without the quotes) between any of the other words.
Click anywhere to save and exit editing
Click the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the HTML page to close it
The option to delete the post should now be available.
This will need to be done for every post you want to delete and will only work for posts you created.
