RE:A scam to watch out for

Now we cant even trust verified accounts.
It appears they are using Ai to add th centification details to images.
I have spoken with the actual people who own the photos who have certified accounts on TN and the actual person has stated they are not on the site.

LoL. New certification method needed.

RE:A scam to watch out for

I got this, about a month ago. It asked for nothing she didn't already have access to, so even though approaches from an unknown female are red flags, I saw no harm in saying yes. I got the response, also pasted below, after we clarified that she wanted to use my profile pic. There has been no further communication - no request for money or information. It's a five-year-old profile, from Houston, but with all photos and most activity very recent. I figure I have so far put nothing at risk, and most certainly will not have any personal/financial dealings on the basis of an approach like this. If anything of the sort is proposed, I'll post an update here.

Hey I absolutely love your photo and would love to use it as inspiration for an artwork Im creating. Ill be sure to credit you and highlight you as the source of inspiration for the piece

Thank you and I will be sure to use it only as inspiration for my artwork. Im working on a project called Human Facial Expressions for a client, and Im looking for photos of real people to use as artistic references. I want to make sure I do this the right way by reaching out directly to people here instead of using random images from Google without consent.
