Travelites' New Years Eve report, Forthcoming, and RSVP request

Members arrived from the Midlands, Low Country, and Upstate of South Carolina as well as Georgia and North Carolina to say good-bye to 2011. The furthest destination was western NC. Caravaning/carpooling to the restaurant was uneventful, and attendees were seated almost immediately upon arrival. The food was great, the company fantastic.

Snacks before dinner included not only the usual garlic/spinach dip but also steamed jumbo shrimp with rosemary as well as chips. There was sparkling grape juice and chardonnay to enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. 2012 was brought in in while in the hot tub viewing great fireworks & toasting to a fantastic New Year with super people at great times.

To all, may 2012 be the best ever with only better days ahead. RSVPs are requested for the first hot tub party of 2012 to be held in Hopkins, SC. It will begin @ 4pm with a potluck supper @ 6:30.

Other events include the 2012 East Coast Chili Cookoff sponsored by Travelites and held this year at Serendipity on January 21st. This will be followed by the Chinese New Year on January 28th.to Summer Party.
