anyone know of any clothing optional beach around the pensacola florida areaThere are no legal beaches in your area. However, the post above this did give you options. Remember it's not legal. That's one reason to be a member of AANR and TNS.
As mentioned, Johnson Beach is nearby. It's part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, and entrance is on Perdido Key, turn left after crossing the bridge when you drive from Pensacola. You need to be aware of who's around, but once you get a mile or so east of the end of the road, and up to nearly the eastern tip of the island, it's pretty safe to be nude. There are boaters that moor/camp on the lagoon side, and some cross over to play in the surf, but they usually cross the narrowest parts of the island. Some of them get naked once they're near the Gulf's edge. You can get a permit to camp at the park gate, but remember that you have to carry everything you take.I've just joined TN, but once approved, have uploaded a few photos from Johnson Beach to my profile. Thanks for the info. When I was much younger my friends and I would head to Navarre Beach. I guess it's gotten more populated since then. They have some resorts in Al and Ga, but have never been and it's not a beach. Ship Island (Gulfport, Miss) has been nude friendly on the east side of the island for many years. But in 2011, I had a bad experience with a female ranger and have not returned since. I may give it a try this March and update you. Good luck
