getting back to sailing

anyone else looking to get back into sailing, what type sailboat and size are you looking for. i haven't sailed for years but always had boats of one kind or other, now being a fishing boat, canoe and kayak but darn i want a small sailboat at least 16 ft with a cuddy cabin that will tow easy and set up and what i'm finding is the small sailboats are more expensive than the larger and i mean 22 - 30 ft range. heck i saw a 22 ft sell for about $500. on ebay the other day and one is at $10. and some change and only one bid, i think the cost of slip space has a lot to do with it , my first slip space back in the 80's was less that a $100. a quarter heck that's what a month cost now if not more.
