Return to DiscussionsI have seen a female doctor for most of my life. The one I saw for the longest time; she would be in the room with me alone and I would be nude. I mentioned to her that I did not like the gowns, and she said that I could remove it. Over time, since she was in a bigger practice, it became less free. She would have scribes in the room, and they were generally female also. I didn't care. I figure they have seen it all before. I was seeing a female doctor because my wife didn't want a male doctor and I thought it was important that the family go to the same doctor.
