Good for you Adam! I keep trying with my wife but she is solid on no, every once in awhile shell sleep nude but not often.

I total can relate to this issue though I had no choice of doing nude swim in my own yard, I was doing by going to Hippie Hollows. I got to Hippie Hollows clothing optional state park by chance as a pre-arranged get together didn't happen near there and friend stated he wanted to go to naked park. I was ok, as having gone nude at local Korean spa and previous beaches in Europe many years ago, it was like ok with me. Well I didn't tell the wife right away, actually two weeks while having dinner at a local restaurant. It didn't go over very well and she had all these accusations and assumptions about the whole visit to the 'nude' park. What upset her more was that I had stated I had seen naked females. At the spa, it's gender seperated nudity, at the 'nude' park it wasn't. My reaction was, it was no big deal, not with her. So I kinda stated, I'm going back again next weekend, and she can join me or not, but I was not going to do anything against the law and imoral. The day came and she was still saying I shouldn't go, but I was like 'I am' and for her to join me. She said ok, but she wasn't going to get naked. The whole 3 hour drive was full of small talk and what was the park like. Once we parked, I was cautions about what would be her reaction to seen another nude person, and since nearly most are nude men, what would she say or do? Not within 100 ft of getting down to the main path, there was a nude man. I watch to see her reaction, there was none. OK, good, she is ok with it. Got to a spot, I stripped she kept her clothing on. She looked around and stayed dress the whole 5 hours there. We left and she said nothing at first. We had seen about 20 or so guys nude, not one female. It was mostly a cloudy day so there were not many. We chatted about what she thought, it was ok she said but she was not going to get nude in public. At that time I would on occasions sleep nude she would not. Few weeks later I mention I wanted to return to Hippie Hollows, and she said OK. This time she took of her top but kept bra on. There were more individuals there that day and even couples. Over the next few months she slowly took more off but it wasn't until about 1 1/2 years later of monthly trips to Hippie Hollow that she finally went totally nude. Granted times before if a guy came by she would cover up if she felt they are staring. Now since it is a public place and a large park, it's hard for the park rangers to watch everyone. During the 3 years we visited the park before I found the local nudist resort, we had general good times been at the park, and made a few friends, both male and couples. However some males did not do right, made lude acts towards her or she was approached by males with boners while I would be gone to rest rooms, she liked been nude and how more confident she was about herself and self image. As I stated we found a local nudist resort, which I would say would have made it easier for her than at Hippie Hollows to adjust to been nude around others, but giving her time and allowing her to go at her own speed, even with what some males directed towards her, she found that been nude was best thing she has done in her life. As you are doing, just give them time and be positive about been nude. There are advantages of been nude for both a man and female that make us better individuals with our health, mental and physical, and well been that you can't get unless you are in your birthday suite. She even found articles of why it was good to sleep nude by herself...

One of the differences for women is that they will always attract negative attention and have the experience either clothed or nude married or single with their partners or solo. Unless the man is always proactive in his attitude and she sees that he's not allowing other men the space to be inappropriate without being hostile or aggressive she won't be comfortable. One of the most important things is introducing her as your partner and as a couple primarily to other couples who are being social. Single men and women shouldn't be forward and pushing their way into your space. I've been seeing for example a couple for years at the beach and always smile and wave in return but 4 years went by before we spoke and it's because they introduced themselves. I was happy to meet them and they're lovely people but I wouldn't have addressed them otherwise as a single man. Likewise I am friendly with single women who acknowledge me but it's hello and wave until they ask a question or strike up a chat and if never then it is more than fine. I've had a woman tell me what she felt about men in nudist spaces and I apologized for myself if I had contributed to that and told her never be shy to tell me to move away or to take friends with me and she was stunned... that this was the response to never being spoken to until this... and asked if I was for real. I said yes absolutely. Because I understand that it's my job as a guy to make sure women are comfortable and safe in nudist space first and foremost. Most guys aren't even remotely there. So I understand if women are much more apprehensive and unwilling to join their partners in nude social settings. For all the freedom and acceptance it's still going to be like the regular world in which women are the object of excessive attention unwanted and unreasonable when you look at it openly. Unless there's a good effort to make it otherwise. Asking her what you can do to make sure she's more comfortable and how to help is always a good idea

just a thought my ex was ok when i asked her to go years ago i told her that first visits to most resorts you can stay clothed or get nude at your comfort level and she did it took about a hour of her chatting with a female nudist to get comfortable. jump ahead after divorce i started visiting nude beaches and just my conversation with others here if you have a nude beach or nude friendly lake nearby visit there first as who doesn't enjoy the beach . there they can stay dressed , wear a bathing suit / bikini , go topless or go nude when they are comfortable even if it takes several visits.
