Return to DiscussionsI recently made a post on my page about finally stripping down and leaving everything behind as I went on a hike/jog. I am extremely proud of myself for this. Its pretty difficult to find the space to go nude outdoors when you dont get to travel to resorts. Finding secluded beaches, trails or fellow nudist with privacy fences are rare.
Well I finally pulled up to the trails and after so many times going out nude and carrying shorts with me just in case I pass someone, I decided to leave the shorts behind. I figured if I do come across another jogger I would have time to suck behind a tree or change routes to avoid conflict. So I decided to finally hike/jog completely nude and free for the first time since actually visiting a nude resort.
It was liberating, exhilarating and gave me much more confidence. I am proud of myself and of course I am careful being on a public trail secluded from roads. But I am still finding the space to enjoy nature, the elements and exercising completely nude.

Is there a reason why you feel safe with nothing on those few days and not others?
There is less moonlight on those days. The trails arent covered by canopy so they have open sky. When there isnt a night moon I will typically leave all clothes behind. With more moonlight I will have shorts with me.

About 16 years ago, I left our current house, drove over an hour to the house we were selling to do some fix it stuff before escrow closed. I arrived at the old house, forgot a few things, after working for about a 1/2 hr and decided to go to the Home Depot for these items. I got in my truck and noticed I forgot to put the clothes I was going to take. I now had no clothes and figured I had to drive all the way back to the new house. I got in the truck and the low fuel light came on.
Now, I have no clothes and have to put fuel in my truck. I drove to the gas station and was able to put fuel in my truck while I was naked. Got back in the truck, drove the hour plus to the new house. There were the clothes I was supposed to take on a counter in the garage. I grabbed them, the missing items I needed and drove back to the old house with the clothes in the back seat.
Since then, I've had a bag of clothes in each of our cars. It made sense since we are in earthquake country. We sleep nude, so if the big one ever hits, my first instinct, after getting my wife out of the house, is to get one of our cars out of the garage. We'll be naked for a short time before I get the car out and the bag of clothes for each of us.
I have left the house to run errands and been naked and didn't take clothes BUT, I technically always have clothes with me in case of emergency situations in either car I drive. Usually, I grab a t shirt and shorts and throw them in the back seat.

I used to pump gas nude quite frequently at a gas station in Blythe. I chose this station on our way to Lake Havasu to visit friends, I'd stop there to fill up before trekking across the desert where there we zero facilities. It was a gas station that was rarely busy. I had an island and pump figured out so I had optimum ability to be nude. On that route, I'd often take a trail off the main road to see where it led. My wife and I would get out of the Jeep naked and explore a little. She was always nervous that someone would come up on us, but we were far enough to see quite a way in both directions. As time passed, she got more comfortable.

i wonder when we get to the point where mere nudity is as excepted as everything else that politicians and the media have thrown at us. no doubt i can have a naughty side but when i'm nude out hiking or driving i behave because i'm still respecting of others if i come upon them . maybe those in charge of laws are guilty of something related to being nude ? if nudity was legal in public if i could go shopping , to the bank or to a restaurant i'm surely not going to make a ass of myself and ruin it for other nudist. when i go hiking and can be nude i feel a greater connection with nature and suspect the rest of us do also. maybe we may see change i hope so.
Perhaps global warming will make nudity more acceptable.Reduces CO2 by requiring less air conditioning and manufacturing and washing clothes.

There are three favorite drive thru's nearby. I've driven through each of them completely naked, without taking clothes from home. As I stated, we never really are anywhere without clothing of some sort. It would be somewhat difficult to get to them. I have left the house naked, not taken any clothes from the house with me and driven through these fast food places. None of the employees have ever said anything and it could be because I drive a high profile Jeep. I imagine all the can really see are my shoulders and hair chest. :D
