Return to DiscussionsI read somewhere that being Naked in public is not illegal in UK, as long as you are not waving your bits at people or trying to offend someone. If you are just Nude walking down the street and not "intending" to offend anyone.
Yet, Stephen Gough kept getting arrested when he walked from Lands End to John o'Groats. Why? I wonder?
It is a shame that more of us Nudists don't push the right to have the freedom to be Nude whenever and wherever we want to be.
The Brits are generally very prudish about Nudity, they don't understand that to just be free and Naked, has not got anything to do with being rude or outlandish or sexual. I just want to be Nude because I am happier that way.

The main difference is the work done by British Naturism's legal team with the Crown Prosecution Service and the College of Policing in getting the law properly known by the police, etc.
