... Do you wear as little as possible?
No shirt for men and halter top for women?
Short shorts?
Minimal swimwear?
No underwear?

RE:When You Can't Be Nude

Where I live I am free to go around nude most of the time
I dress in shorts and shirt to do my grocery shopping and other errands
swimwear is not allowed in the pool, nude only
Underwear only when absolutely necessary

Have you found any of the places you need to visit on your errands that allow men to be shirtless?
When would underwear be absolutely necessary?

as little as possible. Very little swimwear to avoid too many tan lines :)
Going commando is not a real option in that respect but nice during winter time.

Because many of the business here require shirts I don't go bare chested although I can get away without an actual shirt if I am wearing a jacket
Prefer to wear underwear in a Dr. office

Why, it's just one more layer to have to take off?

RE:When You Can't Be Nude

I NEVER wear underwear, I don't have any. That includes the doctor's office. My clothing depends on how warm it is. Nude is preferred. If I have to be clothed in the warm it's a mini kilt and T shirt. Sometimes it's less - a cloth thrown over my shoulder like a toga or a flimsy mini wrap, nothing else. As temperatures fall I don jeans, T shirt and a jumper. The only times I get formal is at a funeral. Here in the UK it's dark suit, shirt and tie. I did go to a Spanish funeral in a white T shirt and black mini kilt.

But some doctors ask you to strip to your underwear and then not have you remove it at all.

Hasn't been a problem for me, and eases examinations as the Dr/ nurse knows you're not shy

RE:When You Can't Be Nude

One time when I went to a Doctor to have a wart removed from my hand he had me undress completely so he could be sure that I did not have anything wrong anywhere else.'

Another time when I was having a physical exam I had on a paper gown and one the shoulder straps tore exposing part of my bare chest. The Doctor stopped the exam to get some scotch tape to repair the torn gown

At another exam by another Doctor I was wearing a heavy shirt and he was listening on his stethoscope as he thumped on my back. I got so disgusted with that that I asked him if it wouldnt be better if I took my shirt off. When he said yes I took it off
I have no problem with being seen completely nude and see no sense in a Doctor having a problem seeing me shirtless

I've heard tales on here where some members of the medical profession appear to be paranoid and allergic to naked skin. It does make you wonder if they've chosen the correct profession.

Mind, I do think at lot of it these days is paranoia about upsetting or offending the patient and being sued for doing their job. More PC gone mad.
