This is a group for those who may be Home Nudists or those who cannot always get to a Nudist Colony, Camp, or Resort and therefore take things into their own backyard! Whether your backyard is private enough or not, perhaps you lay out nude, skinnydip, garden, or mow the lawn, this group is for you!

Return to DiscussionsI spent years living in suburbia and hated every minute of it, being regulated by the neighbors as to when I could or couldnt be naked in my own backyard. It came to me being happy and nude or sad and clothed. I soon learned that what makes you happy is the most important thing in life so I moved out and bought a place in the bush that was private enough to be naked all day without any restrictions. Best thing I ever did.

We also escaped suburbia 3 years ago, the best move ever! We are on reasonably private 5 acres, i am working on the privacy in terms of hedges, but when the neighbours see me, & they have, i just keep on as normal. I am not an exhibitionist, i am just comfortable with myself!
At my home, neighbors from 5 other houses can look into my backyard from their upper floor windows. I do not let that stop me from using my backyard naked, which I do regularly as I also don't wear clothes inside my home.
The law here (art 430a) says you can be fined if you are naked at a non-designated public location which is not suitable for it. My backyard is not a public location, and cannot be seen into from the nearest public location (the street).
The upper floor windows of neighboring houses are also not public locations, so it is not illegal to be naked in my backyard. If neighbors do not want to see me naked in my own back yard... they are perfectly free not to look into my back yard.
