I know there used to be one around Byron Bay but the owner seemed a bit different so perhaps it is no longer operating.
There has to be others somewhere over that distance?

Indeed, it has changed. 30 years ago I found plenty of beaches some legal CO, most not that were not an issue, we just camped along there but did not nude camp, we did not wear much but not nude, think I wore speedo's if not nude. As for B&B's well they did not exist then.
It would be great if you were looking for home stays along the way with people you met on this site but there is probably a level f nervousness about that now.
People who set up B&B's must be comfortable with strangers in their home and have things in place to deal with any difficulties that arise.
You could try Revelwood, near Bangalow. Stayed there last year for a few nights & had a nice time. All nude, pool, nice country & close to Kings & Belongil near Byron Bay.
It is currently being refurbished, so isn't currently open but check the Revelwood Retreat website for more details & updates.
I think there is another nudist B&B near Sawtel but can't remember the details, unfortunately.
