How do you most like your beer?
Return to DiscussionsI prefer my beer off the tap. A freshly-pulled pilsener with a nice head. That's German beer culture. In Duesseldorf I like an alt beer (a top-fermented, spicy dark beer). On the Christmas market I drink a glow beer with pleasure which is a hot Belgian beer flavored with cherries and spices.
I prefer a mug or glass then bottle to the can. Temperatures served really depends on the beers. I grew accustomed to warmer beer while in Germany compared to the lighter American beers which have to be ice cold. Does anyone else try to follow the type of mug/glass etiquette? I have a few different styles but my cabinets are too small or my taste too varied to have all the different varieties recommended.
