A little tip for those who find it too troublesome to shave regularly; the makers of Veet (formerly known as Nair) make a version of their depilatory cream especially designed for men, known appropriately enough as Veet for Men. I buy mineonline (ebay UK prices from around 9.50 + 2.99 postage). It is also available from larger branches of Boots and other chemists (a Google search will give you lots of options). You simply apply the cream to the appropriate area, leave it on for about 6-10 minutes and then rinse it away under theshower (first time around you'll need to unblock the plughole though.... lol). I do realise that there may be those whomight suffer an allergic reaction to the cream (a veryslight burning sensation is normal), so I would suggest that you try it on a small patch of skin first and be prepared to rinse it off immediately if you feel a severe reaction. Although this product is not specifically designed for the removal of pubic hair, I have used this cream for many years without any problems although I would suggest the application of a good quality skin cream after use.A 200ml tube will easily give me 10-12 applications, each "removal" lastsme about 6-8 weeks before I need to repeat the process. All in all, I think the use of depilatory creams is much better for both men and women as it gives a much cleaner, smoother look and feel.So guys, it's time to get smooth without having to take a sharp blade anywhere near your prized possessions and no razor burn either. One other possible bonus is that couples who both want to be smooth might want to depilate the same way together as a precursor to more personal pleasures.
I had to shave pubes for an op a couple of years ago - thought that looked odd so got rid of on rest of body as well. I found that summer that I was much less sweaty & more comfortable so have kept it up. I use the cream & find need a whole tube for entire body but it lasts about 2 weeks. Got to say I like the feel of it as well - more open to the elements
What is the British way? Men are you hairy or smooth? Or do you have body hair but no pubic hair?Last winter I was a smoothie (see my earlyer photos), but the maintenance was too difficult. Now I'm hairy, sometimes with a gentle trim.
i used to be a smoothie but it was too difficult to maintain - while I was girlfriend used to shave each othernow just trim but have tried shaping and for valantines day shape into a heart shape - also do shave underarm
