took a short road trip the other day and im sure like most of us when i cross a bridge over a creek or river i have to look down sometimes stopping to check it out below. well the other day i thought what if i had a small inflatable yak i could inflate by hand that i could keep in my vehicle ( i keep my yak paddle in there always) so i'm thinking the single yak wouldn't take much space and be at the ready, any thoughts ?

I have a Sea Eagle 330 and a 370. They are all right but the floors sag, which can do a number on your back after a while. Although it would cost more than you mentioned wanting to spend (if brand new) an Advanced Elements Airframe with a back bone kit and/or drop stitch floor upgrade might be a better choice. The basic model without upgrades has the same back torquing floor sag issue as my Sea Eagles but tracks better and doesn't catch as much wind.
There are a couple other companies that are known for their inflatable yaks but I don't a have any water time with their products yet.

Just got a Coleman inflatable that will fold up into a backpack. It will stay in my trunk until time to hit the water. Over $100, but only by about $30.
