Return to DiscussionsI did a shortened kayak paddle around the lake yesterday. A weekday on a lake that is busy on weekends. By shortened I mean I went across a couple of spots rather than hug the shore. Safe to do when speed boats are not zipping around. On the east side of the lake there are very few cottages and also a shallow area that folks anchor and swim at. Yesterday no one was there. I slipped out of my kayak and slipped my swim suit off and put in the kayak. Fun to float bare ass with the noon sun overhead .Great kickoff to summer.
