DeAnza Springs Resort

My wife and I like camping. She loves the dessert. We want to camp here because of the access to desert hiking. However, I would imagine that July and August are not good times to visit due to heat. So, what season are the best here? We would be staying in an RV. I was thinking late September early October, or February March. Also, can you mountain bike on any of the trails?

Hope you get some answers to your question. We too are interested to going there and would like to know.
I believe there is a very large train tressel that you can get to from the resort. Youtube videos have shown people on bikes there.

DeAnza is a great park. plenty of hiking right out of the park with plenty of places to explore. I was there in March and it was in the 80's during the day and cool at night. they have a real nice indoor pool and restaurant and bar and lots of activities. I imaging just about anytime is a good time to go there, but from Oct to April would be the most full due to snowbirds.

This month and Aug will be warm, but the pool is solar heated and there is lots of shade around it. Low to high 90s mostly. Ive hiked most of the trails, better for hiking than biking. But like someone else mentioned, the tracks have been biked alot. I dry camp there, but there are full hookup sites and rental units available.
Hope this helps, and message me if you have other questions.
Tony
