Offering a hitchhiker a ride
Return to DiscussionsThis was pushing the envelope a bit, but I did it after giving it "just enough" thought. A few weeks ago I was free-hiking along a coastal trail in Hawai'i on a weekday morning. On my way back to the car I wrapped a sarong around me just long enough to get in and get started, then got naked again. As I turned a corner onto a main road back to town, I saw a guy holding his skateboard thumbing--looked reasonable and clean. About a 1/4 block past, I pulled over and he ran up to the passenger side. I put the bunched up sarong over my crotch and said, "Hey, you're welcome to a ride if you don't mind that I'm not dressed." He shrugged and said "sure" and after we got underway said something like "so what's with the nakedness?" I explained that I'd been freehiking, he said that he used to break into the school pool to skinnydip with girls when he was in high school. We had a really nice conversation the whole way into town (about 25' drive) about the way of the world, his plan to move off-Island to get a job, his success with giving up weed and drinking, etc. I let him off at the mall.
At one point we were stopped for road construction, and so I took the opportunity to change into my shorts and don my tee.
So there I was, naked, transporting a nice 25 year old hitchhiker. I had a bit of cloth covering my bits for most of the time and was completely naked for a while too. He was totally OK with it, and I'm guessing he had the most interesting "hey, what's new" story to tell his buddies later that morning.
Anybody else ever picked up a hitchhiker when they were naked?

I have stopped to give a ride to hitchhikers on several occasions while I was driving nude. I never bothered to cover up, and told them I would gladly give them a lift, but they would have to get nude as well. They always did just that. It was quite amazing to me at how readily they took their clothes off. It leads me to believe there are more nudists out and about than we may realize. Each time, it was quite a refreshing experience for both me and my new friends.

I never picked up people while driving nude, but got picked up by a nude couple, hitchhiking to Berlin some years ago. I was wearing nothing more than flipflops, tiny shorts and a loose shirt. they stopped just at the border between NL and Germany. they were walking to the shop in only swimmers, so asked them on the way to berlin I am looking for a ride. and she said yah why not and he said no, so I said too bad, but he changed his mind and said but we are naked in the car, and I said, no worries love to be nude.
so we drove the whole way in the nude and I even got to stay the night when we arrived with them, was also great.
