I have planned two hikes on the Florida Trail between Yeehaw Junction and Lake Wales. Hikes are 14.5 miles and 10 miles on the 15th and 16th. All are welcome.

Dec 12, 2021Where exactly is this trail? I have driven on State road 60 from Yeehaw Junction to Lake Wales dozens of times. Never heard of the trail you plan to walk.

The Florida National Scenic Trail runs from Pensacola, in the north, to the Big Cypress Swamp , in the south.
We hiking 24 miles of it between SR 60 and US 441.ReactReply - PI
Dec 15, 2021The FL trail at FL 60 is at the southern end of Lake Kissimmee and then jogs eastward along 60 before turning north again.
