Staying in a hotel near North Beach Park and went there today.
Didn't see any topless women but saw quite a few in minimal 2 piece swimsuits.
Most of the men were wearing swimsuits of varying lengths, but I did see one in a gstring that had just a minimal pouch and string around the waist and up the crack.

    There are those who follow the fashion and those who push the boundaries, although the boundary-pushing appears to be more male.

    For the females it seems to be more towards fashion. Whereas toplessnes was a fashion for a while (and it took a promo video of Sydney I found on YouTube to remind me) it's now the style to bare the tush and keep the breasts firmly secued.

    By contrast, I suspect every make wearing less than boardshorts is quite aware he's pushing against current trends but accepts that and does so anyway.

    True, but the man I saw yesterday was pushing the boundaries much more than one in a swim brief.

    The ones that get me are the men who wear underwear under their broad shorts. Really? Why do you need double layers?

    Or the younger men who were board shorts down to their knees but ride so low that the top of their bush and crack are showing!

    I've seen that too and wonder the same thing. Why underwear under your bathing suit. I normally go commando almost all the time in shorts, jeans etc
