Free Style Nudity

A group for those who want to be nude on their own terms - without the hassles and rules of organised and commercialised nudism and naturism. It is a forum for discussion and exchange of information, with the aim of allowing more people to "do it their own way".Photos are allowed so please add lots of them - they make for a lively group. For confidentiality I have set it so that only...

Why do people do this?

As many of you will know I check profiles of everyone who applies to join the group.
I thought it might be informative to share with you a message I have just sent to a TN member who submitted a second application to join:
You have just re-applied to join Free Style Nudity. I declined your last
request because some of "your" profile photos are from the web and date
back at least as far as 2008. Since you claim to be 19 now, they cannot
possibly be of you.

I expect honesty from group members, and I would like to give you the
opportunity to explain more about yourself and why you feel you need to
attempt to deceive.

RE: Why do people do this?

You are so right. people try it on to get into groups. I admin a group called Dare to Bare which requires potential group members to have at least 2 full naked photos in their profiles, including the face (I didn't set the rules). I'm amazed how many try to get in without any such photos.
Personally I can't understand why anyone would want to deceive on a social website like TN.I believe in being real. That way I find myself talking to fellow nudists who take me as I am. My fav phrase is that a nudist has nothing to hide. It is the very open-ness, verging on vulnerability, which gives nudity a real lift for me.
Unfortunately people can join TN without any commitment to nudity, just wanting to ogle real nudists in their full-frontal nakedness. Only 22% of TN members have any photos in their profiles. Many of those without photos are true nudists who just happen to be unable to show themselves. So, why would anyone bother to fake it by uploading photos copied from the internet?
