Return to DiscussionsSounds like a cliche topic I know..but I wanted to put this out here for my fellow freeballers. I generally don't wear underwear and I have been wearing them less and less at work as well. Sometimes, depending on the material of my slacks or khakis I would wear boxers only, but I decided to just rid myself of underwear all together despite my attire. This applies to work, running errands or at the gym etc. I do run and I will keep some snug shorts or under gear just to keep things from being jolted around.
Now, to my point, I have an appointment for yearly check up and with a new doctor at the VA next week and I wanted input from any freeballers out there in regards to wearing or not wearing underwear to my appointment. I would prefer to stick to my guns and stay underwear free, but not sure if there might be an issue or if anyone has ever experienced an issue while at the doctor's office? I have observed over the years how sometimes the doctors barely lift my shirt to check me out or listen to my heart and lungs etc. I am not sure how "complete" this check up will be as it is the first time I will meet with this new doc. My previous primary care doc at the VA was a female although she never examined me and always referred me to her intern, which was male. Male or female, does not matter to me, again, just looking for thoughts or input on my upcoming freeball or not doctor's visit. Thanks and hope ya'll have a great day!
I always free ball at the doctors and have never had an issue. When the nurse tells me to go ahead and undress and put my robe on, she always tells me I can leave my underwear on but since I don't own any obviously I don't. :-) my doctor gives me a thorough examination and the last two times he has waited in the room with me and made conversation while I took off the robe and dressed. He has never said a word. I have never tried it with a girl doctor though. I would be interested in seeing what others have experienced with that.
I have a female DR and she has never made a comment. DR's really have seen it all.
I always free ball when going to the doctor or hospital. I doubt that they will even notice as all of mine have, they don't even loosen your shirt, to me it swwms now to just be a money scheme, how can the check you when the don't even see your body.
I haven't worn underwear to any appointment in 45 years and it has never been mentioned. It makes it easier to maneuver should there be a need to drop your trousers. Fewer moving parts if you get my drift. I figure if you are more comfortable, your check up will reflect that. Leave the underwear in the drawer.

I say get rid of the underwear altogether. I did a few years ago and have never looked back. I truly never plan to ever wear underwear again. I can't be sure but suspect wearing underwear led to jock itch for me while growing up in hot, humid Florida and recurred during my time in Viet Nam in 1970 - 1972. There is no doubt in my mind the tight leg bands of my briefs at least irritated the condition.

I freeball most of the time, and don't usually wear underwear to the doctor. I told him years ago that I'm a nudist, and the paper sheet or gown aren't needed to preserve my modesty. He appreciates not having to deal with the covers when examining me - makes it a lot simpler.
Yes do not worry and freeball, I do it all the time at work , when out anywhere ... no underwear and ball weights on ... at the end of the day Doctors and Nurses have seen it all before so nothing to worry about. Hang free and be proud :)
