  I hope to be there, but have not booked yet. I go every winter (usually in January) to the Hotel Esmeralda at Costa Calma, but this year hope to go for Christmas as well. Its the most southern hotel in the resort and, as such, is at the very top of the 20km Playa Sottovento almost continuous beach. I reckon that just south of Costa Calma is the very best for beach naturism in the Canary islands, and that's without having to retreat into any sort of fenced off area. My photos included scenes from around there.

  [/quote] The Gran Natura does like you to wrap your sitting towel round yourself when fetching food from the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet in the dining room.
  Other than that you can take your clothes off as soon as you arrive and out them back on immediately before departure (unless you are driving naked from and to the airport, of course).
