About five years ago I took a two week vacation to Vermont with the express purpose to find as many nude swimming holes and places to hike naked and I found many places to skinnydip! In the southern part of the state there is the Ledges and Rock River. I had already been there many times, but they are worth mentioning since they are so easily accessible to people from Massachusetts and New Hampshire and even northern Connecticut. They are very popular. In the middle of the state around Rutland there is Clarendon Gorge (the actual gorge is textile, but up river a piece it is traditionally nude and I have never seen anyone there with clothes) and Chittenden Reservoir. In the northwestthere is a nude section of a beach in Burlington on Lake Champlain and then there is Woodbury Quarry and Lake Willoughby in the northeast. There are many many other places, such as Herring Cove in Provincetown, but I wonder if people know of other places to swim nude in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
