Male Bonding2

For those who like to explore the concept and dynamics of male bonding. Brothers,

It's been a while since I checked in with you all. I enjoy getting the occasional messages from members of how much they enjoy the group, and enjoy following the discussions. I'm so happy and proud to announce that as of today, this group is the 6th most popular of all groups on TrueNudists, and we are the 4th largest group on the site. Thank you all for participating. I end up approving an average of 25-35 new members each week, so am not surprised at our status.

We've had a significant increase of people who identify as "other" rather than male or female requesting membership. For those, I explain the "safe space" for male discussions and ask them to tell me a bit more about themselves, respecting their gender fluidity but asking for more information about how they identify. Many don't write back and I don't approve them, but of those who respond, it's a good conversation, I appreciate their self -disclosure and usually approve them.

I also have to thank you all for your contributions, non-judgemental attitude toward each other and the conversations. So many men seek closeness and connection wtih other males and an opportunity to talk openly. Many of those do not have much opportunity in real life, so they appreciate this kind of a forum, and I"m appreciative of all of our brothers and your support of each other! You guys make this group--THANK YOU!!!

Keep sharing and supporting our brothers.

I would assume if they dont identify as male I dont understand why they would be approved, is this a "male" bonding group or not?

We are who we are.
It's not helpful for a group like this to enforce gender norms, which patrolling gender boundaries inevitably tends to do. I'd think people who have declined to use the "male" label and nonetheless are interested in joining our discussion would have a lot to contribute.
