Most of my life spent nude

Return to Discussions

A couple of years ago, I started calculating the percentage of my life spent naked. I used conservative estimates.
I considered how many hours a week I am at home, how many days of the year it is too cold for my comfort nude. Since i graduated from college and started living on my own, ALL my time at home is nude unless it's just too cold.
Turns out, sometime during my 51st year, I passed the point where my naked time equalled my clothed time, and ever since then, I have been gaining in naked time. I only spend about 1/3 of my time clothed now. My overly textile parents would not allow ANY nudity outside the bathroom, so until I was on my own, there was next to no nude time (that's why it took till 51st year to catch up).

I am probably naked more than I'm clothed. I'm naked at least 14 hours every day and all day on weekends.

RE: Most of my life spent nude

I am naked all day and every day, except when
1) with the Grandchildren2) when the cleaner is here3) when shopping (getting dressed in the carpark)4) when helping out with the local charity (ditto)5) briefly, when someone I don't know knocks at the door6) when with the Doctor, the Chiropractor, or the Physiotherapist (now ain't that odd!)
Percentage-wise I think that makes me about 88% naked.
Yes, it does mean that I drive naked, sleep naked, and do the gardening naked. It doesn't mean that I spend all my time at home, 'cos I walk naked, too, carrying something to slip on in potentially difficult areas.

Now that I am retired and living in a clothing optional
community I spend most of my time naked. I am dressed only 1) when I am going
into town to do my grocery shopping and other errands; 2) when it is too cold
outside for me to me nude; and 3) when I am visiting relatives (as
they are not nudists) or other non-nudists.

Over time its become a fact that more of our close friends are also nudists, due to our spending more and more free time in nudist circles, so nude socialising in each others homes is more and more the norm. I also work from home a lot more these days and I'm nude then too.
"My overly textile parents would not allow ANY nudity outside the bathroom, so until I was on my own..." I had the same situation, while still at home I'd discovered nudism and knew I preferred this way of life. Once I had my own home I could live naked there, as time has passed undressing has become what I do as soon as I get home, its a way of life that suits me, the more time I am naked the more time I want to spend nude. I haven't worked it out as accurately as you have but I am sure that about 60% of my life has now been spent nude and its a percentage that I can only see getting higher

I sometimes track it May - September when temperature is not an issue
Was nude over half the time in 2018 and 2019.
Didn't track 2020 because with our grandson here more, I knew I would be nude less.
However, I wore shirts less because I had fewer places to go and haven't worn long pants in over 4 months!
