permaculture and nudism

Return to Discussions

Hello, I have been wondering about the overlap between the philosophies of nudism and permaculture. My garden is one of my favourite places to be naked, I feel at peace. It would seem to me that the ideas of working with nature (permaculture) and connecting with nature through nudism would go hand in hand. Has anyone thought more deeply about this than me? Or read anything that integrates the two worldviews?

Yes, the philosophies of naturism and permaculture overlap. If you just consider that indigenous people do something like permaculture and also do something like naturism. They live together with nature not against nature.

Thats a great point indigenous people have been doing both longer than Europeans and Western culture. They simply didnt name as such it is just a part of their everyday life.

Hello,

I too have thought about this, and my conclusion is; The symbiotic energy that is present being nude in the garden is immensley special. The energy we come into when interacting with the plants is an energy of each plants own, specifically designed for their genus. Earthing is ultimatley the best way to enjoy the permaculture lifestyle in my opinion.

Happy Growing.

Think you are speaking of my dream. Im a medical herbalist and my dream is for my own plot of land, a permaculture plot, living self-sustainably and able to go and be outside on my own and just be in nature as intended.

Some day
