Return to DiscussionsI tend to just go with discount department store ones. As a kid I always had ones with rubber straps until I got a pair with fabric straps and found it hard to go back due to discomfort. I now wear either style again with no problems. Push through the discomfort barrier!
Left mine in a beach-side street once. I sat on the car's seat and removed my thongs on the road to brush off the sand on my feet before swinging my legs in. Drove home barefoot (never drive in thongs - that's diabolical) and only realised what I'd done when I got there. Oh well, they were only cheap thongs.
Went to the beach again the next day and they were there in the middle of the road just where I'd left them! Saved me buying a new pair!
