Nude Swimmers

A group for those of us who enjoy nude swimming - for fun - for exercise and for competition. List places where you can swim laps nude please

Who here owns no swimwear and only goes in the water when they can be nude.
I do own and use swimsuits at times because I like to sometimes go with textile relatives and friends and also when traveling and nude venues are not available.

RE:No Swimwear

I do lots of swimming at a municipal pool so have to wear something. Got onto a few "briefer" brands that make you feel like you are wearing nothing, it's the next best thing. Was training yesterday and when I was finished one of the lifeguards came over for a chat, I know her from when she was a squad trainer. She talked for ages and was giving those "briefs" a good look over so I think they must look OK, if they were see thru or too small she would have said something.

Have some tan thru shorts too, they are good when you have to wear something.

At the beach I wear nothing as often as possible.

It must be at least five years since I last wore anything on the beach - I even arrive at the beach naked so I don't need to undress. What's more it means that my clothing never gets all sandy and all I have to do is brush my feet before re-entering the apartment complex.

Someone on another board posted that he retired to Gran Canaria because the island was nude tolerant, even in some areas that wear not officially clothing free.
He often goes completely clothes free for extended period of time and can usually just use a sarong when he needs to cover up, so he has gotten rid of most of his clothing.
Is Fuerteventura the same?
Do you also maintain only a minimal wardorbe?

RE:No Swimwear

I have not yet visited Gran Canaria but judging from my experience Fuerteventura is the most nude friendly of the Canary islands.
We are only on Fuerteventura for a month every winter and like to eat out at the better restaurants so I do take a fair amount of tidy clothing. Having said that, on the days when we eat at the holiday apartment, I will be naked from when I leave the baker's shop having collected the fresh rolls and croissants for breakfast until I collect them again the next morning.

On my French holiday this summer I won't even be dressing to do that.

Do any of the clothing optional resorts have a public dining room?
If so have you tried them?

On Fuerteventura the Gran Hotel Natura has a restaurant where we have eaten once as guests of residents. Although most of the diners were clothed nudity is permitted except that you need to cover with a simple wrap when collecting food from the buffet.

All the major French resorts which I have visited have one or more cafes and restaurants which are all clothing-optional as are the shops.

Probably won't wear a swimsuit again until our next vacation.
Interesting, I can't remember when I last wore a swimsuit at a vacation resort, although I do wear one occasionally at hotels we stay in overnight to break a journey, although I quite often find a way to skinny-dip there.

My wife is not comfortable in a clothing optional setting, even if she doesn't undress.
